Please remember Jane, June, Davy, Deborah, and the rest of their family in your prayers. Thank you for being a wonderful Church family to Jane and David.

Comment on Welcome to the Providence Baptist Church Blog

This is a great addition to our web site. thank you Phil!!

Comment on The Journey of Lent

So very powerful. I can use these thoughts of healing for I am at times somewhat embarrassed to say I'm Baptist. I look forward to reading more and hearing more accounts of this monumental meeting! Thanks for the easy access to the info.

Comment on New Baptist Covenant Is Already a Success

Parham is right. I have learned in my nearly two decades of involvement with the Baptist World Alliance that the global Baptist community is far more vibrant and forward-looking than one would think from watching the SBC. In my opinion, the SBC is standing in the station as the Baptist train is pulling away.

Comment on Welcome to the Providence Baptist Church Blog

Yes, I think so, too. Phil has been busy !! His is the moderator of this blog. I think it will be a great thing !! I like having the great articles...keep the cobwebs from gathering in my brain. I think it will help keep the important issues in front of us.

Comment on Welcome to the Providence Baptist Church Blog

Wow! I pride myself on being a "real" Baptist. What do I "do" with that? The challenge is before us and ever-present. What we do with that after Feb. 1 is our answer to God.
